Cars in German Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were notified by a individual who discovered a car in Hanau smeared with reddish substance

Roughly 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were vandalized, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Police state they were contacted late on Wednesday evening, when a man discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored liquid.

The substance had been applied in the shape of a banned symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then located multiple other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report preliminary tests suggest the substance was probably blood from a person.

"Currently there is no indication as to its source; officials are currently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the occurrence," they added.

City officials stated they were working "to solve the case" and have requested to the residents for information.

An important representative stated the incident left him stunned and required to be solved rapidly.

"This act hits the very heart of Hanau and revives the wounds of the far-right violent incident five years ago," he stated on social media, recalling the death of nine people by a shooter targeting people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
